Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Anyone else going to Les Deux Alpes 10th – 17th March?

I love skiing but couldn’t find anyone else to go with this year so I’m going on my own. I’m staying at Chalet Grand Tetras which has one single room (rest are twins or triples) and am worried about being only person there on my own.

I’m 30 years old, female and of intermediate skiing ability (can tackle reds and easier blacks). I’m doing ski school while I’m there but I’d love to meet up with other like-minded solo travellers or groups that wouldn’t mind me tagging along after my lesson or during the evenings.

Hey Suz13bear – I’d surely say hello if I was around, but THOSE precise days that you chose, I’m probably in the Austrian part of the Alps!

As a manner of fact, I’m bound to be in Munich from the 16th to the 19th of March, thus the choice (will take a car to either St. Anton or somewhere calmer, depending on the mood).

I'm pretty sure you'll find hordes of people around, don't even worry! Madeye-Smiley

Hi i was in les deux alps for 2 weeks on my own last year, in an apartment you will be fine, I used (easiski)for lessons and Charlotte
found me some ski buddies, drop her a line, enjoy yourself.

Hi Suz13bear - you're going to be there at the same time as the "Cautious to Confident" week which is run by Charlotte (Easiski). We are staying at the Hotel Valetine, near the Belle Etoile chair. I'm not yet sure who is coming but we're a friendly group and would be delighted to see you. I know for sure that a Belgian couple are coming - the wife will be in our lessons and the husband will be skiing on his own - he's great company.
