Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

I will be solo in St Anton 23-29 Jan and am looking for like minded skiers. I am fit and experienced, looking for off piste. Might also join a guided group (ski school/PistetoPowder) if conditions warrant it. Pm me with contact number if interested. Happy skiing.

Went with Piste to Powder previously, €100 per person per day. Very good and professionally run. Did feel a bit of a sting at there being 8 in out group though...
Plenty of Snow Heads on St Anton so you might find some company for free.
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Wow 100Euros for a group of 8.
I might just have to find some ski bums then.

In fairness to them I'm sure if one person turns up they still run the group. There was probably that many becuase it was the first powder day in weeks.
I just figured that for (presumably) €350 a private guide could be obtained which would expose you to less differences in abilility among the group and would let 3-4 people get more from it. I re-iterate that they were very good and I had one of my better days skiing off piste. And in the event all the group were all honest people and didn't overstate our abilities so we were all more or less the same.
