Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Do you need a lift pass for Niederau Nursery slopes

Hi All
Taking the wife and kids to Niederau for half term. Do they operate a free or token payment nursery slope? Not sure if they will need a lift pass on the first day.

Thanks

Hi Snips
Went to Neiderau a few years ago when my daughter was 3 she is now 15 so I'm hoping I can help you. The nursery slopes then were covered by the lift pass and as I remember the only free lift was a pulley lift for the ski schools. The pass also covers Aufach which is 15 mins by bus and a larger ski area. The nursery slopes are really good to learn on and the ski school is excellent, we went there 3 years on the trot. Stayed at the Hotel Vicky which was a Thomson hotel but has since become an apartment block. The village is small but ideal to learn, at the top of the gondala there are a few nice runs once you have progressed. Hope this helps and you enjoy Neiderau as much as we did.
