Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Disabled Race Training

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
I originally posted this in the Disabled forum but got a message to cross post in here:

A friend of mine has Down Syndrome and she is a very competent skier. She competed in the Australian Championships last year and has qualified for the World Championships for skiers with an intellectual disability in Turkey this year.

Her family have invited me along to coach her in preparation for this trip (I am a former instructor, ISIA, Examiner etc). We are seeking a resort near Geneva where we can access GS and SL courses for a week or so prior to the comp, during the week of Feb 20th.

Any suggestions of contacts in the region?

I have a contact at Flaine that looks promising but looking to canvass a few different options.

may be worth contacting Phil Brown (philbo on here) of Impulse racing, he runs Aosta valley race academy and may be able to help out as they will no doubt have courses set in Pila (about 2 hours from Geneva through the Mount Blanc tunnel)
