Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi..We're looking to make a change from France for xmas /New Year 2013..would prefer self catering, one non skier and the rest prefer blues/reds...travelling with couple of teenagers(17 yr olds) so need a bit of nightlife...would prefer to drive from airport but not a necessity. The non skier would like to be able to meet up with us at lunch so a ski in ski out would be preferable as they dont like high gondolas/cable cars!!!(why go skiing you may think..but they like the whole ski atmosphere thing). Puzzled Tough shopping list but any suggestions /tips would be greatly appreciated

Shifted to resorts section

Not sure about what to suggest, with the current exchange rates you may wish to avoid Switzerland

If you do decide on Switzerland the Jungfrau region is mainly red runs with a reasonable number of blues and few blacks, Wengen has a little nightlife but not a lot, it's advantage is that it is possible for non skiers to meet up with the skiers at pretty much every mountain restaurant in the area, you can also use the trains to cover a reasonable amount of the mountain without needing to use a cablecar or gondola (though it's much better if you do), there are some self catering places in the area that offer ski in and out but not many, most however are only a short distance from the station, there are also a number of sledge runs in the area so maybe the non skier could give that a go, handy for carrying teh shopping back if nothing else snowHead
