Had lunch today at La Combe. Pretty good and I think does mainly pizza at night. Why don't you look on the Morillon tourist website, but don't expect fine dining.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Thanks very much - not much info on the website will try la combe though - I dont suppose you spotted any others did you? Got a wife and 3 children to keep happy and dont fancy the €20 euro cab ride back up the mountain.

keithp, Their is only one decent nosh station at Morillon = l'igloo around 1600m or so tel +33 04 50 90 14 31: L'igloo is widely considered the best in the GM, and probably in the entire Alps from the feedback I've heard.
I must add that I've enjoyed their savoyarde cuisine for almost a decade and I would recommend it thoroughly (unless I want a table there!)

keithp, Weclome to SH.
Would really like to read a review afterwards of your eating experiences at M 1100 during that week,,,good and bad together plus the merits or otherwise of staying up at 1100 versus the village.
