Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Morzine group lessons advice please

 Poster: A snowHead

Hi

I'm trying to organise lessons for myself and my son in Morzine (not together!) and having huge difficulty. I have contacted so many organisationd and I either don't get a reply or they can't offer group lessons (I can't afford private). My son has only skiied once before (last years with ESF) and I am intermediate 'sort of' paralleling stage.

Any advice greatly appreciate
Jo

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

yes, unfortunately they cannot offer us lessons at the same time and as I'm a single parent we have to go at the same time.....

how are you contacting them? Phoning would probably be better than email, and all the relevant numbers should be on the website. ESF is probably the best bet.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

You'll need to Register first of course.

The Snow School (which is ESF, but with smaller class sizes) or ESF may be your only options.

Is a very pertinent question.

I'm surprised if BASS say they can't help you out of hand...

Hi,

we are having similar problem. When are you in Morzine ?

One person in our group is a total beginner, would you be interested in sharing a few private lessons with them.
We are there from Sat 28th Jan (lunchtime) for 4 1/2 days.

Have been to Morzine a few times and ESF is ok for children provided group not to big.

Thank pam,

waiting for a response from BASS - kids went with them in Morzine a few years ago and loved it.
I know their courses normally start on mondays and would still consider some private tuition on the saturday & sunday if anyone interested.
Will call them tomorrow if I don't hear.
