Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

La Rosiere Access Query

Anyone skied La Rosiere?? wink Toofy Grin

We're off to Tignes on Saturday but don't fly back from Geneva until the Sunday 8 days later.

We want to ski somewhere within easy reach of Tignes on the Saturday before we come home - so may go to La Rosiere as it's years since we were there.

My query is, is the lift connection from the road above Seez likely to be open? Or will we need to drive all the way up to the resort? As far as I can see, the La Ros website doesn't list which lifts are open - just the total number that is open - which isn't particularly helpful..... Confused

mountainaddict, Easy access for Les Arcs from Villaroger, 10minutes off the D902 before you get to Seez. Car park and ticket office by the Replat chair lift.

mountainaddict, yes the les Ecudets lift should be open for uplift and download. The piste down should also be open. There is a ticket office at the lift.
