Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi guys

Long time lurker newly registered on the forums! So firstly, Hello, and a very Happy New Year to everyone! Very Happy

Has anyone stayed with Ice and Fire in La Plagne or Les Coches before? Have you stayed at the above chalet?

I love the look of the place and the location, but will gladly take on board all opinions offered! Cheers!

forostar, I know the place (but not stayed there) and one thing i'd say is that its a right old hike up from the 'village'. very handy for the red down to Plan Bois chair though

Hi, I'd agree with Red, the Les Coches one is a hike away, but as it's catered, it wouldn't matter too much I guess Smile. Plan Bois is close, but to get home 'may' be a hike. It's nice and secluded though! The one in La Plagne I would say is better situated but busier area, you can see it from the lift out of Plagne Centre, I forget the name and my map isn't handy Smile. It depends what you're looking for really! Les coches for prettiness, and plagne for convenience....
