skiingemu1, Have a look at the map here, you will need to zoom in to see the detail.

There are cash points at yellow 3 and 12. There is also one not on the map at the end of the main ski car-park near the barrier at the end near the lifts, which is handy if you run out of cash whilst skiing. Certainly cards can be used for meals etc.
I'm not sure what time buses run to. I walked to Le Lac during the day and it's not far and you can do it on footpaths, but I'm not too sure if it is easy to do in the dark. I wouldn't try it without a good torch, you wouldn't want to fall in the lake.

Although I wouldnt pay too much attention to the timetable. You can walk to Lac accross the lake.If you go out eating and drinking expect to spend lots of money.
Use the search tab at the top for tignes it will bring up hundreds of threads as Tignes and Val are a popular destination.

It's only a few minutes walk. And a lovely walk by moonlight. And probably scary as anything in a blizzard - every year people get lost and die in ski resorts...

Tignes is generally cold take plenty of clothes for the evening, expect some sleep alteration in Val C. I have been 30 weeks+ to Tignes/Val and always enjoy; this year a coffee will not seem as expensive as .98 to the pound was so enjoy. I always take lots of cash with me (see thread on cash machine in Tignes not giving what is typed). You are going to MHO to the best lift off-piste area in the world, although one does have to walk a bit to some of the classics, generally the further one has to walk is an indication of it's severity. Tignes is a real skiers resort there is nothing else, you will love it.
