Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Skishuttle.co.uk - Anyone used them?

The skishuttle.co.uk ad popped up and fat fingeredly I failed to close it so opened it by mistake. Took me back to my first Chatel trip when we did overnight coach trips for a couple of years around 1990. Switched to self drive or fly and hire car and never looked back. Set me thinking though - are modern coaches more comfortable? It's getting more and more painful to fly and I work let than 2 minutes from Aldgate bus station so could be at my desk at 3.15 and still get the Friday afternoon departure. Could even do a day trip!

Or is it early senility or pre Christmas madness?

Anyone used them?

No replies .... OK so it's early senility!

Bit of feedback to self - we passed the snowshuttle bus last night just South of Calais. Looked clean modern and in good condition doing a steady 100kph.

I guess they were on the 1720 Eurotunnel which was pretty good going if they left London at 1530

Anyone on it?

Yeah I read the website also yesterday, seems pretty good, however the site doesn't mention average journey times. I imagine if your headed for one of the later stops like Val Thorens then it could get pretty tedious having to go through all the other drop of locations first. But still not a bad price........

I think for locations like Val Thorens you're switched to local buses at Moutiers, but I've not done it myself so could be wrong.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Just used them myself. Great service at a great price. I was picked up at Northampton M1 service station yesterday at 12:30 (lunchtime) and after two more UK pickups arrived in Moutiers at 07:00 am. This included a drop off in Albertville and after Moutiers the coach was dropping off at Bourg St Maurice. At each of the main drop of points they have pre-arranged minibuses waiting to take you to your specific resort. One week ski holiday = 8 full days on the snow rather than the usual 6. I would definitely recommend. Very Happy
