Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

My wife and I are staying in Les Glieres in Rue de Pinon BSM which claims to be 3 mins walk (but is at least 600 metres away) from the Funicular.

We are going from March 10th to 17th.

Questions:-
Where is the best place to hire skis - and leave them there each day as we do not want to stagger back to the vast studio (17m2!) with them
? Is it better to hire in BSM or 1600?

Where are good and cheap places to eat in BSM?

Where is a good place to foodshop - and lug it back to Glierers?

When are the shops open until - we arrive at 17:20?

Wew are leaving at 22:00 on Sat 17th - any ideas where we can leave our baggage for the day?

All hints and tips gratefully received!

hi snowbotbeentaken,
I stayed in les glieres last year for a week with the mrs. Funi is at least a 10 min walk, its a lot further than 600m to where you get on! we drove as had the car but saw people slugging their stuff over every day, there is a rental place at the foot of the funi that lets you leave your stuff at the end of the day its called polaire star. best and closest place to shop is Lidl (left out of glieres then first left at top of st) it officially closes at 7 (5? sun) but serve you later if they are still in. super u and intermarche and a good 25 min walk. we ate out every night at a different place each night, highlight was asian buffet (indochene) 20e for all you can eat also lots of cheap pizza places dotted around. as far as im aware there are no left luggage facilitys in bourg, most people sit in one of the bars near the station with there bags, station would be best bet to try!
