Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Big thanks to CEM

While skiing on the Ipswich dry slope last Friday evening a canting screw fell out of one of my Head Raptor boots. I didn't notice until I took the boots off at the end of the session by which time, there was no chance of finding it.
On Saturday morning I tried the local snowsports shop but he does not stock Head boots so he had no spares. I tried Lockwoods where I had originally bought the boots but they didn't have any spares either. They said they could order one from Head but that it could be a week or more before it arrived.
Big problem - we leave early on Friday morning for Val Thorens. Sad
I then phoned CEM who had tweaked the boots for me after I had skied them a few times. He found one in stock and posted it to me 1st class without charge.
Due to the vagaries of the pre-Christmas post I didn't receive it until today but now I can go enjoy the new snow in VT.

Thanks Colin you're a star. snowHead

CEM is Cas Ellis Brigham's supplier for all boot/ski little bits they don't keep in stock, he was fab for it when I worked there.
