Hello to all,
In this day before the holidays departure we inform you that the Santa Claus made us a pleasant surprise: IT SNOWS IN ABUNDANCE. It also means that it will be necessary to be careful on our mountain roads and that tomorrow on SATURDAY, 17 the police plans to stop in the valley all the cars which would not be equipped with snow-chaine.Then do not wait to arrive here to buy it!!!

There's certainly plenty of snow but it was bl&&@y cold today. Snowed on and off all day, probably 2cm in resort
Best powder we found was the stade above Champagny, so good we did 5 laps 
Not sure if it's the economy or akward changeover days over the festive period but Monty is quieter than expected

Bit busier today (compared to yesterday). Only skied as far as Aime 2000 but the snow aorund the Montalbert areas is very very good. We skied the Bois de Crozelin (even tho was closed) and it was really great skiing. All the runs are soft and quite powdery but very very cold indeed. More snow forecast tomorrow and it has been on and off today but right now our valley is pretty sunny. It should be a great two weeks - have never seen so much snow in the village!

redrunmarcus, we've had another 30cm of really fluffy stuff here in Les Coches this morning so I guess it's the same for you. Looks like it might take a break Thursday. The road up is getting narrower and narrower as the snow piles up at the sides. In the Weldom car park in Bourg St Maurice they've built a new Alpine range!!!!
I heard a report of an evacuation in Tignes Breviere for avalanche risk. Can anyone confirm this?

FAQ
nearly a meter of fresh snow in places, great snow coming down soft but a liitle heavy going most probably better in the morning, I am pleased that my leg got through the heavy stuff with no difficulties, its only been 6 months after my ACL replacement
