Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Personal preference really on leather or something like goretex, my Hestra ski cross leather gloves have kept my hands warm in all sorts of weather and with a bit of tlc are every bit as waterproof as synthetic material.

Look at these i like them a lot they look nice as well but the problem is that they say they are for snowboard which might mean that they do have to much grip when using poles? whats ur opinion do u think that if it to much leather it might be to much with poles?

videoman22, why do you need ubergrip for using poles? I usually just sort of hold them. Puzzled

However, if you're worried about it, go for the board gloves - hey certainly have a lot more grip when it comes to hanging onto a rope tow.

My Gordini gloves fell apart after only 3 weeks of skiing (the stitches just gave up). So i wouldn't get a pair of those.

No difference between ski and snowboard - like the vast majority of kit the only difference between the two is marketing and sometimes styling.

Hestra is your answer though.
