Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Anyone used these guys for boot fitting?
Am in the South West so anywhere further than Bristol, Cardiff, or general South West is too far.

I didnt get mine done there but purely coz I found a too good to say no deal in sales elsewhere. I do visit there for other bits though and their service level is excellent. I know a few people who have had boots from there and they swear by them, never heard a bad word about them. Don't be put off by the quirky nature of the shop (its in a basement of a large house) as its a real aladinns cave and very professionally kept. You get a real personal touch from them even if its just a pair of socks you're after. Well worth visiting.

One other thing with Devon Ski Centre is they will take your old boots in part exchange I believe, provided they are in reasonable condition.

Devon Ski Centre sold me some boots as 85 flex that were actually 55 flex, when I called to request this be resolved amicably under the sale of goods act 1979 they refused stating too much time had elapsed between the purchase of the boots (end of season sale) and my telephone call (after my next ski holiday the following January). Up to you but I certainly wouldn't buy there again, the boots caused me lots of problems as they were the incorrect flex

quote: flex is not considered essential in the boot fitting process

Err...flex is very important!!!

Atomic70, out of interest...what problems were you having with the 55 flex boots, what boots were they and what boots did you get to solve the problems you were having with them?

Could the name be a clue?
