Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Atomic Crimson TI?

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
I'm considering buying a pair of Atomic Crimson TI's this season in a length of 178cm, has any one got any feedback?

I'm 182cm tall, weigh 88kg and would describe myself as an advanced piste skier who's looking to venture off into more variable terrain. I like to ski fast and aggressively. During 20 years of skiing I've always rented so would really appreciate some feedback!

Thanks in advance!

Ah, just found a thread devoted to them - guess I should have looked harder!

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

I wouldnt buy until you try 'em. I'm a similar build to yourself and similar skiing too. I was given a pair to use last season in Utah while mine were in the shop, fresh powder around 8-10 inches. they were ok but I didnt rave about them. Ok for the day to get around on but pleased to give them back and on my own skis.

I've skied Volkls for the past 7 years or so - latest ones are the AC50 so similar dimensions the the Atomics. They may be great for you since all you have done is rent or they might not be.

Better to demo a pair when in resort to really use them first. Have something else lined up too if you dont like them.
