Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

What brand ski pants for longer legs?

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Being 6'4", it isn't easy getting a new pair of ski pants that are long enough. Most of them seem to be a mix between 31" to 33" inside leg. Ideally I'd like a 34" inside leg or even longer.

Anyone know who makes ski pants made for tall (athletic wink ) build?

shoogly, I have a pair of Beyond-X pants with the long leg option that are a good fit for me, available from Incline Sports in Edinburgh.

I would expect other brands of race warmup pants to work too.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

I'm 6'5" and large framed (think blind side flanker) and had almost given up on trying to find ski pants to fit.

I have however just bought North Face Monte Cargo pants from Ski Lodge in Cardiff. Good length and fit but may be a bit boarderish for some.

(I nearly went for the O'Neil Exalt as they were a nice fit. I chose the NF as they had less insulation)

I'm 5'8" but also a 34" inside leg. I generally struggle with buying all manner of activity trousers. Decathlon have a range of salopettes called 'Pull N Fit' which are adjustable length. Other than that I have never found any that don't show a bit too much boot.

North Face do a long leg pant

I've always ended up buying extra large, which end up baggy around the waste but ok for length.

that's what is really annoying, and this goes for most clothing. You have to buy XL to get the length, but end up in a tent!

I'm 6'4" too, currently have a pair of regular length NF, similar to the Monte in XL which are wearable with boots on but a little tent like!

Have been looking at the NF Freedom in the long length too but a little unclear as to how they are vented... my current ones have inner thigh zips... not sure about these...?

shoogly, No, 32" IL - Theta's are a bit longer than I'd like but they work - would be better with someone 34-36" inside leg............ Never had a pair of flared jeans back in the day, always had to cut the bottom off my jeans, but had some great cushions from the offcuts! rolling eyes
