Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi,
I'm a 27year old female in need of a ski holiday. I'm pretty confident, can get down most hills. I'd love to find a group to go skiing with either straight after Christmas (26th Dec) or some time in
Feb/march. I don't mind where as long as there is snow and a few places to go in the evening. Any groups got space for one more? Nat

I'm from the States, spending year in France and will be looking to do something around my birthday in March, but haven't organized anything yet. Will be in London for the week before Christmas if you or anyone else wants to get together for a beer or tea to discuss plans. Matt

missnatnat,

Are you free 3-10th Jan? We've got a single room left in our chalet (link in my tag line) with no single supplement. There's a good crowd booked in for that week, including a mix of adults and families, including another female solo skiier.

Or 18th - 25th March we've got 2 small groups of friends booked in and a solo skiier on hold so it looks like it'll be quite a sociable week. Single rooms available with no supplement.

Hope it helps - please get in touch if you have any questions.

Best wishes,
Heather

missnatnat,

Hey Nat,
I'm a 28 year old female also very keen to go on a ski holiday this season..! I normally go with a big group of friends, but no one really seems interested this year! Sad
Have you found anything yet? I've checked out a few of the companies that offer solo ski holidays & some look pretty fun... Smile
Could look for availability for 2 people...?

There are two tour operators I use regularly that accept solo bookings without charging a single supplement. They will probably pair you up in a twin bedded share with someone else.

Mark Warner operate a number of chalet hotels in various ski resorts and provide ski hosting. YSE only operate in Val d'isere. You will usually find someone/a group to ski with.

The "Powder Junkies" Meetup Group I believe are going to Chamonix just after Xmas.

This is a group comprising keen mainly solo skier/boarders.
