Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Ski Hire in St Anton am Arlberg

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
I'm hoping someone can give me advice on ski hire in St Anton am Arlberg.

The last few years I have skied in France and used http://www.alpinresorts.com/en/ski-rental to rent my ski's. I paid about £75 for a weeks hire last year in Les Arcs.

I have been looking for ski hire shops in St Anton, but they appear to be around £140.00 for 7 days hire, which is a large difference. Sport Alber and http://www.sport2000rent.at/en/rent/o208/s75/products

We will be staying at Chalet Eisfall which is located opposite the Nassereinbahn lift.

Does anyone know an alternative ski hire option that might be cheeper and local to that area?

Thanks in advance for your help.

PS A discount code may be halpful...

Everywhere in St Anton is pretty much the same price, you might be able to get 10% off from your accommodation owners/TO, but you may aswell just go to whichever has the most practical depot for you.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Austria generally is not too expensive for hire gear but St Anton is extremeley pricey. I have had to grin and bear it twice for a family of 5. It hurts still. If you are able it would be cheaper to hire on the way in.

This shop is one of the only independent stores left, you may find it cheaper. You should eb able to get a discount throught your chalet or operator.

Plenty of ski hire shops by the Eisfall (Skiworld still yeah?). Sport Alber is directly in front of you as you walk out the chalet door, and Intersport and Jennewwin are just round to the right of the lift.
