Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Getting from Selva to Milan on a thursday night- possible?

Title says it all really! I want to travel from Selva (well, Arabba actually but I presume that Selva is probably the most convenient place to get to and from) on a thursday evening. I've looking into taxis but these cost too much, so I was wondering whether there is a way to get to Milan via bus/train? I don't mind if it isn't direct, I just need to arrive by friday morning! This is in early April by the way..... Thank you!

Hannahm, Welcome to Snowheads! snowHead

I don't know how much help it is to you, but there is a Thursday bus service from Selva to Bergamo airport (which is about 50km east of the centre of Milan), see this site I would think that there would then be some bus transfers from Bergamo airport into Milan you could take, eg Terravision. The 2011/12 winter timetable for the Selva transfer should be available soon.

Thank you that is helpful! Do you happen to know if there are any trains from around selva to milan, just to look for an alternative?

No railway to Selva
I would think the closest is Bolzano

Hannahm, This site shows bus services in Sudtirol. You'll see that there is a service from Selva (Wolkenstein in German) to Bozen/Bolzano railway station, from where you can go by train to Milan.
