Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Mounting Telemark bindings...

 Poster: A snowHead

Hi,

I've got a pair of AT skis that have already been drilled for alpine bindings.

Would it be possible to re drill these for telemark bindings?

Thanks

deffo, have done the same myself, plug the holes properly then redrill. Maybe some difficulty depending on where you need to drill the new holes (in relation to the old holes) but you should be right. A good shop will do this for you no bother if you dont want to do it yourself

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

g0lliver86, Where are you based? If you're anywhere near Nottingham then fellow snowhead spyderjon at Jon's ski tuning can get it sorted for you.

g0lliver86, what telemark bindings are you mounting? If you live in / near London are doing NTN bindings then I have a mounting jig, drill bits, etc.

(It's probably not a wise thing to say, but...) "I mount for beer".

Pukka jig barry. I only bought the NTN one, though, not the 75mm one.

barry, I got mine from a contact in France. It was around 50 euros, although I got a bit of a discount. I took the view that it'd save its cost quite quickly.

I'd contact the UK NTN importer. I can't imagine that it'd be much more than 70-80 quid.

Alternatively, mine is an open offer if around / in London.
