Love this video. I am inspired! Who would have thought year round skiing is possible in the UK. There's a endless supply of useless shagger skis on ebay, perfect for this.

I am wondering if I could perform the same exercise on my stairs at home - obviously less fun then outdoors but no chance of being spotted either.

Scarpa, yes - there is a sand dune in SW France which gets skied occasionally (but has to be skied early morning or late at night as skiing it is not 'strictly' allowed...).
Namibia (I believe) also has some dune boarding/dune skiing (as I'm sure do plenty of other locations in that generalneck of the woods - a few videos kicking about of sand skiing/boarding.
