Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

ALPINA A2R RACING BOOTS?

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
I found these boots, and am wondering if anyone knows anything about them. I'm guessing they're racing boots, but I don't know how old they are, they're not rear entry, so I guess they're not that old. They're pretty stiff, if you (can) pry open the part under the lower buckles, they'll just about cut off your fingers snapping shut, if your not careful.

I'm guessing they were pretty expensive at the time, they are still clearly unused. It looks like they were meant to have another powerstrap at the top, around the outside top of the boot, (maybe that was optional back then?) they didn't have any with them when I got them. I think those are usually pretty cheap.

They say "Bill Peterson" (spelling?) on them, i'll try to link images to this post, any information you could pass on on what I have here would be appreciated, Thanks.

Would suit a child? Do not attempt to ski in them.

Wow, they're that nice, huh?

I forgot to mention, they're size 29.5, and they're 13.5" long along the soles.
Why would they be "maybe suited to a child" if they were smaller (since the only child they'd fit would be maybe a teen age sasquatch)?

Are you guys sure?
I wear mens Nike shoes in sz 14, sometimes 15; the soles on these line right up with my mens sz 30.0 Tecnicas, and those are almost too big for me. They usually don't make womens boots in my size, probably just as well, mostly only WNBA players have feet my size anyway, a thin market for a mass produced, item.
