A quick look a timetables for 11-12 and it looks like sleazijet from Liverpool to Geneva has the only sensible schedule for a weekend? My criteria are 1 day off work for three days skiing ideally...anybody spotted anything else that works?

kewhoward, Lufthansa Manchester - Munich also works, fly out 5pm Thursday, back Monday 7.45pm ish. FOC ski carriage, but need to book early. Also Swiss to Zurich, not seen anything for Geneva though, Jet 2 out of LBA a no go, lousy times (and prices).

Yes - but if 2 of you go you can take a double ski bag (and split the cost of ski carriage) and no other checked in luggage.
The generous (no weight limit) hand luggage allowance means you can fit your ski boots and other gear in that - & Bob's your uncle!

I think you are forgetting about the M25.
Another airline to look at is Brussels Airlines, ski carriage is free but you would have to change in Brussels.

Thanks rjs - with changes then KLM via Amsterdam from Leeds opens up all sorts of routes - but rarely cost or time effective for a long weekend.....

Could drive to Lille slightly quicker than Aberdeen (6:52 according to AA) and get the train from there.....thanks for looking though
