Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

I'm finding I can't help looking at webcams of ski resorts that I went to last year. I've been doing this at least once or twice a week, all through the summer. Is it just me Puzzled

WiRED, Nope, perfectly normal activity in my book, turn on PC wait for it to load download e mails etc, click on webcam of resort, click on zoomed webcam of resort, make coffee, start days work, obviously as Autumn progresses webcam checks become much more frequent during the working day!

This rule runs true for ex-girlfriends too - some of them have clearly not aged as well as others, and there may have been one or two who appear to have swallowed a whole calf......

WiRED, Very normal, in fact I would say that if your only checking the web cams a couple of times a week, then you only have a very mild case!

As boredsurfin, says, usual routine is always emails, orders, webcams every day whatever the time of year (oh and never turn your pc off if you can help it, then you can view the webcams much quicker wink )

It's extremely normal this time of year. It's very important to watch those precious first few flakes appear. It gives you an enormous sense of personal wellbeing.

Isn't a 34" waist a bit fat? I'm sure I read somewhere that anything above 32" is associated with increased health risks, etc. Admittedly I'm a lardy lass, but I'm not that big.

livetoski, No, I didn't give you the whole story. It's every day. Embarassed

I suppose it's all about the anticipation of that first flurry of snow. There's not really any justification for looking every day, although there was that day in June when Tignes and probably most of the Alps got a covering.

Watching the web cams, feeling a tiny little tug in the pit of my stomach when I think of myself skiing down those very slopes.
Frequently taking my skis out to run my hands along the bases and check the edges (nope, nothing's changed since the last time I fondled them).
Constantly playing all 22 ski movies in my collection on shuffle in the background while I potter around the flat.

Welcome to my world.
