Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

I stayed in Frisco last week in Dec. last year (in the car park behind Walmart . . . second night the heater in the truck failed!!! I lead a glamorous life Embarassed ) . . . I can garuntee(sic) certain facts about Frisco.

1: You can get GREAT beer . . . you can also buy carbonated weasle pizz if you want.
2: There are some very good eating places from 'wow' that's good value . . . to . . . where do I go to sell a kidney?
3: The buses are free . . . crowded, slow and a long way from the slopes . . . take a car
4: It's a great place to stay if you want to sample lots of hills and get fat and drunk . . . ok, that's a given for you lot.

Thanks MEfree30, not this season, but next for sure . . . Oh, and as a local you really should say if you can 'aquire' a lift pass discount and where from . . . cos the regular price is a real nut cruncher Shocked

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

What time of year were you here Masque...most prefer a car, but I will take the bus to Copper and Breck and most days it is not that crowded.

Yes, the 100% Vail owned resorts have high daily lift ticket prices at the window but there are many different options that can make skiing here really reasonable.

4 days or less, options include:

Loveland transferable 4 pack for $129. TRANSFERABLE, so a group of 4 can all ski there the same day...one of the least crowded resorts you will find anywhere, lots of snow, good mix of terrain, easy parking, 20 minutes from our door to the lifts purchase online at http://www.skiloveland.com/ticketsandpasses/4pak.aspx (or in person and get a $10 discount)

Copper Mountain is currently selling a 4 pack in person (or renew online http://coppercolorado.com/winter/plan_and_buy/season_passes/fourpack) for $139. Later they will likely sell the 4 pack online for about $220. They also have lots of 2 for 1 and other deals/coupons throughout the season

A-Basin less expensive daily tickets and 4 pack (with Keystone) and other deals/coupons can be found.

Breckenridge/Keystone/Vail/Beaver Creek- savings for online purchases (single and multi-day), employee buddy passes for $45 and friends of pass holder tickets from #$59 or $69

5+ day options include:

Mix and match above

Copper Season Pass for $369 (throw in Winter Park for another $40 or $90 for Winter Park plus 6 days at Steamboat)

A-Basin Bonus Pass for $369 (unlimited A-Basin plus 5 days at Breckenridge and Keystone, one of which that can be used at Vail or Beaver Creek)

Summit Value Pass for $409 (unlimited/unrestricted A-Basin & Keystone and unlimited Breck with a few blackout days) available now at http://www.snow.com/epic-pass/passes/summit-value-pass.aspx

Epic Local Pass for $499 (Unlimited skiing or riding at Breckenridge, Keystone and Arapahoe Basin with limited restrictions at Heavenly and Northstar. Also includes 10 restricted days at Vail or Beaver Creek) available now at http://www.snow.com/epic-pass/passes/epic-local-pass.aspx

Assuming 10 days of skiing it can work out to under $37/day (23 Pounds Sterling) for 4 resorts up to $50/day (31 Pounds Sterling) for 7 resorts. Basically, the ticket pricing here rewards those that plan ahead and penalizes those that turn up at the window looking for a daily ticket without a coupon.

MEfree30, the week between xmas and newyear . . wrong time I know but I was stranded in Denver so took the truck up the hill and camped behind Wallyworld.

Nice pics, how many is comfortable and many is the max number that may be squeezed in? I want to run an 'Over the Pond' bash next season but would like to start small. Everyone flies into Denver and I'll pick them up in a bus and bring them up, do the running around etc. Thanks for the ticket info, my spur of the moment trip cost me $105/day!!!!
