Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

bus companies serving the Dolomites from Verona/Venice

Poster: A snowHead
I've come across the following options for bus service to the Dolomites from Venice/Verona airports (some of the timetables are from last season):

Regular bus service

- Terravision - http://www.dolomitisuperski.com/6482/6482-IT.pdf
- Fly Ski Shuttle - http://www.trentinoviaggi.net/start.php?page=linee_ed_orari&lang=EN
- Cortina Express - http://www.cortinaexpress.it/en/index.htm

Bus service available with booked accomodation

Dolomitistars - http://www.dolomitistars.com/index.php?module=CMpro&func=viewpage&pageid=228

Does anyone know of any other options for buses?

I realise Innsbruck is closer, but we'll be flying to Verona or Venice.

Follow the link in the "Own Flight" section - Bus
http://www.folgarida.co.uk/pages/folgarida_other_self_drive.html

Mind you - send me a PM with details of your flights if you like
I have group flights to/from Verona and Venice and busses departing from both airports to Dolomites almost every week in the season.
You never know, may be able to assist.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Thanks, Wayne. I originally found the Fly Ski Shuttle from following the link on your site.

The thing is that we were in Madonna-Folgarida-Marilleva last year, which was fantastic. This year we'd like to try the Hidden Valley and Cinque Torri, so looking at options for Selva or possibly Arabba.

Terravision seems to be our only bus option for Selva, as our flight arrives in Verona at 10:40 a.m., meaning realistically we could only catch the 3:15 p.m. bus, i.e. 4+ hours waiting in the rather grim Verona airport.

Don't suppose you run any buses to Selva?

Nope, sorry.
Just Folgarida and Madonna - we could sort you out for a transfer to somewhere around here but Selva is a bit far.
I ski there sometimes on my days off and it always takes me about 1.5 hrs to get there by car.

If you're goning to be there for 4 hrs then you can get a taxi into Verona - note there is no bag drop in Verona arport so you'd need to lug your bags around
For more things to do in 4 hrs see here

Thanks for the link. Next time we're in Madonna/Folgarida I'll get in touch - first pint's on me!

You could also get a taxi to Verona train station and catch the train to Bolzano or Ponte Gardena and then get a bus to Selva.

Having done Venice to Selva in a car, I think the transfer time is too long. Verona a better bet.
