Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

European School Holiday, Sept, Oct, Nov This Year

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi, has anyone got a copy of the European School holidays for the above months. The reason im asking it there is 3 of us thinking about booking the Tignes £99 deal in October, but if a lot of Europe is on holiday we want to plan around it. If we choose a few days to go skiing when all the kids are in school, how busy is it likely to be getting up to the Glacier in a morning and whilst up there???

Cheers.

Ricklovesthepowder, Toussaint is one to avoid, 22nd Oct - 3rd Nov, it will be very busy with racers. I don't know about other times.

Ricklovesthepowder . I don't think France have any other holidays in Autumn, other than a public holiday on 11th November for Armistice day

Ricklovesthepowder, Our half term coincides with Toussaint. I went at that time last year and it was very busy getting up on the funiculaire in the morning and on some of the T Bars too. The racers aren't very good at queuing either. There were race teams training from all over, I saw loads of French, UK and Japan. Snoworks (as well as others) run their courses and I spoke to a guy from the RAF doing a coaches course. I wouldn't choose to go at that time again.
