abc,  you're right. More like mountaineering. I watched it earlier & saw a long, hairy side slip with a couple of absails, rewarded by about 2 minutes skiing at the end. Great video though and definitely felt the exposure and commitment came through more for it being a continuous take rather than edited highlights. I reckon that the ethereal Sonic Youth backing track was used because it was the only one on the maker's hard disk that was long enough to fit the footage. I preferred the energy of their 80's years myself & Daydream Nation is one of my very favourite albums ... I saw them play the whole hour and 15 minutes worth (it's a double album) live at London's Camden Roundhouse a couple of years ago & it was a proper treat.
