Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

3 wheeled 'ski' scooter

... which is a useless description of the machine we tried up on the Ventoux yesterday. I've cleverly forgotten the brand name. No motor, no pedals, momentum maintained/increased by a carving, very skier-like movement, feet placed on footrests over the two back wheels. The handlebar moves with you following the inclination of the body through left and right turns, independent of the wheeled part of the structure which stays in contact with the ground. The kids took to it straight away. Great fun if you've got a nice tarmacked area, reasonably wide so you can get long carved turns in, with an incline.

Apparently "popular" in the US for a couple of years? Just appeared in Europe, the model we tried retailing at 200 euros. I'll find out the name, but good aerobic training, combined with skiing action, balance etc benefits. And fun!

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Watch someone coming down the hill putting in nice wide turns, the body movement/position is so close to the "real thing".

PG, My interpretation was 'fun' but with questions over things such as developing banking rather than angulation skills.

But requires rather a lot of space. No use in Hyde park on a Saturday!

Trikke made the original but you can pick up kid's sized ones online for about €30 these days. All made by the same folks in China.
