Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Looking for ski instructional courses / experience in Argentina in August 2011

Hi any advice would be appreciated about instructional ski camps in August in Argentina. As part of a career break (I'm 39) I want to spend August improving my skiing with instruction (I'm a confident / adventurous skiier). I've found a few UK companies that organise something but I'm keen to avoid gap year students (alas I am nolonger one). Has anyone done anything similiar, or is anyone planning on doing anything similar and would like to join together and arrange ski touring / guiding / instruction out there....and do it more freestyle? Thanks for any tips, Laura

Welcome to snowHeads lorrymay, snowHead

That sounds like a great idea. I do rather fancy a trip to Argentina... unfortunately, given the amount I go away in Winter, if I skied a month in Summer too, I think my family might disown me (or perhaps just forget who I am Confused)

lorrymay,

Hi,
I am thinking about doing a similar trip to Argentina this summer. I will be on my own. Did you enjoy yours?. Which school/ resort did you prefer? How was the accommodation? Food? Nights? People? Language? Any info you can provide actually.. Thanks Smile

Did you go? I a also (nearly 39) contemplating an instructor course in BC this year but then spotted Argentina. Wondered what the snow was like in Argentina is it above Tree line etc? Questions as Rocks above.

Thanks wink
