Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Looking for a 3 bedroomed apartment in Soldeu

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi all,

I am new to this site but hoping that someone might be able to help. I am looking for a 3 bedroomed apartment in Soldeu for the New Year period. We went to Soldeu in January this year and loved it, but we can't afford the prices that tour operators are charging for the New Year as there are 5 of us so I am looking to do it myself. But apartments at a reasonable price are a bit thin on the ground to say the least.

We are an English family of 4 adults and 1 child age 15 and we'd like to be within a reasonable walk of the gondola.

Please pass on any info you have, my direct email is kaz.purnell@btinternet.com

Thanks,

Karen

Hi Karen

There are some three bedroom apartments above Slim Jims in the centre of Soldeu called Apartments Casa Nova. You can find contact details here: http://www.soldeu-andorra.com/apartments.php

Hope this helps.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

apartments at a reasonable price

kazntone, wecome to snowheads. snowHead Apartments will generally be at least twice the price at New Year than in the middle of January (apartments in our block rent out for 1100 - 1200 at New Year but around 450 in low season, and they just have two bedrooms plus a sofa bed in the sitting room) so it's still expensive, but you should certainly be able to save on travel costs if you can drive down in one car. Our resort is a small one in France - if Soldeu prices are anything like the same I'd expect to have to pay at least 1400 euros for a well situated three bedroom apartment at New Year. Obviously more in a more swanky resort.

Is there any alternative to New Year? Practically any other time will be cheaper and less busy.
