Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

A veritable minefield, but really interesting (if you like that kind of legal thing.)

There is a meeting tomorrow in Brussels (5th May) All European nations have been invited to attend to try to agree the standards for a European wide professional card for snowsport professionals.

Some nations are happy with the current system (Eurotest) others want to introduce a system based around the ISIA standards.

We have been invited to represent IASI (Ireland). We have our chairperson attending in person and I am linked in by email, skype and phone. We dont really think any thing will be decided tomorrow but there will be alot of debate!

Meeting took place in Brussels on thursday. Commissioner made it very clear that a world body would not dictate European affairs, this had been attempted in other professions looking for a pan European qualification system. The solution would come from within Europe from European EU nations agreeing levels.

Some concerns over the varying levels of Euro test results. However it seems that the general appetite is for the euro test to remain, but be closely monitored to make sure it's fair in every way. Some discussion over standardising the euro security as it also varies in some nations.
