Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Geneva Hotels

Hello

Back in January we stayed in an Ibis Hotel, just a few minutes from Geneva airport. Cost was about £70.00 a night for the room, which wasn't too bad. Hotel was modern, clean and smart if a lttle souless. Next year we will be staying two nights at Geneva (one coming, one going). Looking to spend no more than £100.00 a room (based on two sharing) Close to the aiport would be handy, but not too important.

Any suggestions?

Ash

If you want really cheap there's always FORMULE 1 who have a hotel near the airport rooms are 28 Euros a night for single, double or triple occupacy ! I've stayed in a couple, they tend to be very basic but clean.

If you want something nicer I'd suggest Geneva itself try http://www.geneva-hotels.org/

I've stayed in one, which was less than basic, smelly and dirty. And that was when I arrived!

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

The Holiday Inn express should do you. It's modern, clean and smart if a little soulless Laughing

Shuttle bus to/from the airport so you don't need to pick up hire car to the next day and the free buffet breakfast was pretty good.

We were almost exactly £50 a room there a couple of weeks ago (internet rate) and we got interconnecting rooms (request it in the comments on the web booking form).

Last January we stayed in Geneva itself. Hotel next to the train station. The Cornavin Hotel, clean and comfortable. Good value at Chf 128 for two B&B. We were then able to do some shopping and walking around the city.

I would reccomend it and apparently "Tintin" the cartoon character stayed there!
