Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Moving to Austria for a Season... Advice please...

Well guy's, i'm pretty new to this whole forum thingy but i have to say i've found loads of helpful bits of info... so basically all you guys ROCK!!!

anyway.... next season i am moving to Sankt Johann in Tirol, Austria. i was just wondering has anyone ever done a season there before? If so, how easy/difficult was it to get work, accomodation etc..? I've been going there for the last 10 years on family holidays so i know a good few of the locals. Obviously i can speak conversational German (i think it would be kinda difficult to live there with a language barrier, even though the Austrians have really good English).

oh and i was also thinking of doing the Antwarter in December... Has anyone done this before?

Very Happy

Anwarter is easy (I've done it). Speak to the Ski School, you can probably sort a job with them now on condition of passing the anwarter. Or email local bars (bigger more international apres bars probably) and ask for jobs. Natives.co.uk will have more info about the UK TO season work stuff.

One of my Guys from Welwyn has done a season it Kitz. He had a phone interview; got a "guaranteed" job; Instructor if he passed; other if he failed; accoms sorted etc.

He's not earned much (or maybe he has spent it all)!!! But he's done the season.
