Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Fridge Magnets......

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
My daughter has been collecting fridge magnets from places we've been on holiday, but she has a couple of gaps that she woulld like filled from the ski trips, I wondered if anyone can help:

La Joue du Loup/ Devoluy
Risoul
Solden

If you are on your way to one of these and would be kind enough to get one, please pm and i'll send you the money and postage stuff etc.

She generally wants them with the logo on but if cant get the logo, def the resort name.

Thanks

Put a post in Resort Reviews with those names in the title, the right people might see it faster?

She’s not having my BatMoose from Banff, sorry but I’m not sure I can afford to return there again…!

I too, collect fridge magnets. Have loads that I wouldn't mind getting rid of but not the ones from ski resorts, sorry. If anyone is interested I'll list what I have and you can have them for postage maybe.

And I am on the edge of my seat for an update, what happened? Was the collection ever completed? Did they revisit those locations? Where is the collection now? How has life been? So many questions!

@Libertine, any updates to quell our curiosity?

but without telling her Dad because he'd spent so much time and effort filling in the gaps for her and she didn't want to hurt his feelings

And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

Most children I know hate having any of their childhood collections thrown out and expect them to be carefully kept at their parents house.

So if you're just off somewhere snowy come back and post a snow report of your own and we'll all love you very much

That's often the case. Friends of mine who downsized from a huge Edwardian family house which needed constant maintenance to a little modern "lock it and leave it" place, so they could do more travelling, told their son he'd have to get rid of some of his stuff. He protested because the style of his flat was "minimalist with no clutter".
