So back on the piste today here in Serre Chevalier, and have to admit I was dreading it, as first thing in the morning I took Kiki (our Jack Russell) out for a walk to get the bread and was amazed at how busy the resort was with cars parked up outside every apartment block/chalet.
And sure enough it was what I feared, and not a good morning!
But has to be said, I do not like skiing pistes if they are at all busy, and I don't usually do peak season as it were.
That said we then had a great afternoon taking the dog "back country" getting away from the crowds.

This brings back memories of skking with our Pub dog, she was a siberian Husky and used to follow us up chairlifts.
Coming to the top of the lift one day I heard a little girl on the lift say 'Look mummy there's a wolf down there...' She wasn't so impressed when said wolf appeared at the top of the lift though!
