Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Right, Looks like I can sneak away for 1 wk, 26 Mar-3 Apr - Where to????

So it looks like the OH and I can sneak away for a week for a last chance at the snow.

Where to?

Considerations..

She is a beginner, with only 4 days on skis ever, but starting to link wobbly parallel turns. (But fell and cut her week short with an MCL injury in early Jan) - So has taken a knock to her confidence.

So - somewhere with a good selectron of Novice to Intermediate friendly slopes. She will probably have some tuition to help with her knee confidence whilst I am out getting a morning adrenaline fix

Also

I am a terrain hungry ex-racer who loves to see it all (all the pistes and plenty of off piste). But I am also looking to spend a lot of time with my OH, teaching her and generally kicking it with her on the snow.

We are worried about the snow (of lack of it) and dont want to have a week of swimming or wishing we brought some Raspberry Slush Puppy Flavouring with us.

So we are thinking of North facing / high up places.

We were thinking:
ADH (Will the snow be ok down low?)
La Thuile/ La Rosiere (probably Italian side for better snow...?)
Via Lattea (Sestriere most likely - heard they've been dumped on alot)
3V (Val Thorens?? as it is high up and so maybe less snow loss?)

Any Ideas? Any snow reports from the above or from other places??

Where to Try / Where to Avoid...

Thanks for any insight

 Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person

26 Mar-3 Apr isn't that late. I skied the week after last year and am going April 10th this! Last year was ADH. There is a fair chance it will be slushy lower down, especially later in the day but other than that it will be fine. Same for 3V. I've not skied the other two. It's all down to the luck of the draw anyhow. A couple of years back we were out mid-March and it is very warm and slushy from halfway down (that was in 3V)

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?
