Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

One lift with both gondola cabins and chairs on the same ropeway. Also seen them referred to as Kombibahn in Austria.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

what a good idea. i hate gondolas - all that faffing about taking skis off and carrying them...you shoudl see the state of my right glove where the edges of the skis have sliced them simply when carrying them up the ramp to the gondolas !
thanks !

Are they more useful for runs that are used in the summer for maybe a downhill mountain biking? I'm not sure I'd be too happy having my bike hanging off the back of a chairlift.

Callai, the coolest thing ever, it's a v-neck jumper, with a nice shirt underneath, except it aint a full shirt it's just the collar and bit you can see under the jumper, hence the "shumper" (for a few pounds more you can get a shumper complete with shirt-cuffs too!!!)

I've seen MTBs hanging off the back of chairs (from the double hook thing) too, personally I'd prefer to take my bike in a gondola. But then I'm not a downhill MTBer, I'm a roadie so prefer to be climbing up the mountain by road.
