Snowboard and Ski repairs, people are destroying stuff like i've never seen before. De-lams, Exploding sidewalls, Core shots a gogo. Tears all around.

Seems to me the problem is people failing to adjust their skiing to suit the conditions and ripping around as if there was full cover everywhere...

My husband managed to 'break' a Völkl' racetiger. It has a stress fracture just in front of the binding and was bent out of shape. No idea how it happened.

I managed to ski over a broken bottle a little way down from the Mooserwirt in St Anton last month  Took a right gouge out of the bottom, but to be fair to the rental shop they did a nice overnight service no questions asked.

Yes I saw 4 injured people (foot/leg injuries) on the way into work this morning in Vienna - the kids were off school last week. One poor soul was being pushed in a wheelchair and the pusher decided to take the escalator (as opposed to the lift) down to the tube. Part way down the injured person with crutches fell out of the wheelchair, the wheelchair followed and then the people behind were also delivered on top of her at the bottom. Mayhem.

I'm off to fly thermals in south Africa on Friday instead of wearing them for skiing 
In three weeks the slopes will have been topped up and I will have neck deep powder to play in if I feel so inclined
