Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

I had a day in Madonna when I went to PT in 2006 on the same lift pass. I think it does depend which lift pass you buy though. There is definitely a public bus.

If you get the Area pass you can spend a day each in all the surrounding resorts including Madonna, i think there is only a bus a week on Wednesday and it's 5 euros or the Tour operators do a trip for a bit (lot) more. I think it was only about £20 more for the Area pass

If you get the local pass then it's still good for Passo tonale, the Glacier, Pontedilegno and Temu.

I have just come back, had a great time, i just had the Local pass as my partner was having lessons and i did not want to be too far away. It was her 2nd week and she loved it lessons very good and i found enough to keep me entertained.

Hi, I'm going to Passo Tonale in April (some late good conditions, hopefully!) and get the local ski pass (I think it's called the Adamello Ski Pass) free with my hotel - bargain. However, does anybody know whether it's possible to upgrade a pass to the Area pass simply by paying the difference?

Thanks for any advice.

fastcar0121, I think the pass you want is the Skirama. If you're buying through your TO you should be able to upgrade by paying the difference.

queen bodecia - thanks so much for the quick reply. I think the Adamello pass comes as some sort of deal promoted by the local tourist office and participating hoteliers. I will contact them and see whether it can be upgraded: thanks for the details on the name of the Skirama pass.

If I find anything useful out I'll post it on here!

thanks again

Kendub, Me and the family went to Passo Tonale last year and had a fab time, so we're quite jealous of you. Some of the other families that were in the hotel that we stayed at looked at going to ski madonna. After a lot of consideration they decided not to as it would have been a long day to get the most out of the runs at the resort plus fitting it around the bus times. With Passo Tonale having pistes opposite the village, Glacier further down on the other side and then a link to ski/Gondola to Pontidelongo resort you do get a good variety of runs anyway. Enjoy whatever you decide Very Happy
