Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Poster: A snowHead
Going to Passo T on saturday and bit concerned that no fresh snow fall since 10th Jan. Webcams show going amoutn of snow (on huts and runs etc), but anyone what skiing conditio9ns will be like? been bulgaria last couple of years and conditions got very bad due to lack of snow fall. Will it be icy or will it be better in italy as higher up and more snow cannons?
thanks

Jon Ford, they're very keen on snowmaking and grooming there, and checking the webcams now - there is a ton of snow. I expect piste conditions will be very good.

Particularly if you take in Pontedeligno (and you should, the slopes are miles better than Passo Tonale) you will have a big variation in slope aspect and sun vs shade and will surely find good conditions.

Looks a prime time to go, enjoy the pre-ski anticipation!

hi
don't think you will have any trouble with tonale.... they've had plenty of snow across italy, especially in that region, current depths are huge; base at top 400cms! and lower slopes 150cms! with 100% of runs open........ don't think you have a thing to worry about!!! wink
