Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Ski Service in Val Thorens

Can anybody recommend a place to get my skis serviced and an idea of cost in Val Thorens?

I would normally do it myself but just noticed a small core shot and I do not have the correct gear to do it myself.

Haven't had them done in Val T but would imagine it will be similar to Tignes. A couple of weeks ago we paid 38 euros each for a top of the range full service - probably the best we've ever seen - bases as good as new.

I would recommend Goitschel Sport which is located just next to the Tourist Office. They have recently bought a brand new machine cost them 100s of thousands of euros.
As Mountainaddict said it should cost around 35€.

Nothing to do with Val T but a ski service-related comment out of interest.

I had my skis serviced last weekend in Alpbach. Overnight service, base grind, repair of a couple of bad gouges, wax and edge. Good as new on collection.

And all for €23! Very Happy

Can anyone beat that?
