Looks lovely,, I have been there for hiking in summertime for many years ago,, and I realy like my week there,, and I realy want to try Scottish skiing, is there someone that know some B&B near, that not are to expensive?

I had a trawl last night for accommodation offerings for CairnGorm from someone on snowboardclub.co.uk, the cheapest offers for this weekend were £25 for a single room B&B at the Bavill and Highlander Hotel's both in Newtonmore, about 15minutes from Aviemore by car. Doubles/Twins were £35 at the Bavill and £44 at the Highlander.
While there is a big choice of accommodation for all budgets in Aviemore, it's always worth checking out the surrounding villages as some cracking offers pop up as the hotels and guest houses try to entice folk out from Aviemore itself. The Boat Hotel in Boat of Garten (other direction) had some doubles for £49, supposedly have a great restaurant, but can't comment personally.

freeheelskier, loads to choose from in Aviemore but probably the cheapest you'll find are the last 2 which are Youth Hostels:

SYHA Aviemore is doing 3 nights for the price of 2 thru the end of February, makes it £11.30 per night for a 3 night stay and they have superb lounge and cooking facilities.

Couple of points they have wrong though (it is the Daily Mail), this is the 3rd (if not the 4th) very good season in a row, not the second and the best website for Scottish ski information with snow conditions and weather reports is not Ski Scotland, it's Winterhighland!

the main problem i find with aviemore is the wind. sometimes you feel like you are being blown up the hill. on a good day glenshee is way better imho. got me thinking might take a wander up next week
