Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

No new snow - slalom skis reviews?

So, headed to the 3valleys on sunday. Right now everything is rock hard, and it doesn't look like we'll get significant new snow. Hence, I'm thinking of leaving the Atomic Nomad Crimsons at home and renting piste skis.
I'm thinking of starting with slaloms, and maybe later changing to a GS.
Looking at the rental shop offerings, I don't see many dedicated slaloms, and no Head supershapes, no Fischers.
Has anybody tried the Rossi Radical SL? The Volkl tigershark 10 ft?

Vokl Tigersharks are excellent i tried pair last week in similar conditions, and they handled perfectley and cut through the ice without any problems at all with good speed.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

I'd have said Fischer, Atomic or Head but obviously 2 of those are out so any Atomics available?

Yeah, there are quite a few slalom "carvers" on offer (say waist over 70 m''m), I'm thinking i'll have more fun on a proper slalom
ski something with a 65-66 m''m waist. I'll send a few mails, to see what i can find, maybe they have a few thing not listed on the websites/

sugardaddy, shops rarely list the more specialist offerings although in France it's tricky to savoid Rossi Oversize models. Finding FIS grade skis other than Volkl, Stockli and Atomic tricky.

But if you haven't ski a FIS ski in a while, I think you might find the Rossi 9SO quite fun enough. Or the Mutix with short arms.
