Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

boot fitter - tignes ?

 Poster: A snowHead

Hi,

posts found via the forum search are a bit old ('06, '0Cool, so sorry about repeating a question !

My boots are causing me pain in the balls of both feet - this may be somthing to do with unhappy metatarsals(sp?) (also boots seem a bit tight on the outside edge just below the little toe)

I don't think I have time for a full CEM/S4F UK session before I go on my hols to tignes (le lac). (also I'm afarid I'll buy new boots)

I think, all I might need is a little bit of widening of the boot shell ?? (2007 era X wave 10's)

Cheers All !

in tignes the only guy worth seeing is in Nevada sports in Le Lac make sure there is a good footbed in them before you get them widened, he can do that too!

is this the same frankie chap ?

I have some orange 'superfeet' of the shelf jobbies at the moment. they seem to fit my arch ok.

and I spent time on the weekend un-doing the grinding that had been done to my boot boards to get at least the heel back flat - the whole boot-board has in the past been ground to an angle so that they tilt downwards on the outside of the boots - this was meant to solve the problem - but It never did.
I have failed to get any replacement boards - according to my local shop, salomon no longer stock spares.

I assume you are super busy and booked solid at the moment CEM ?

thanks,

G.

Pm me with the size, and a picture if you have one, I have a couple of sizes here I think. Also make sure the cuff can't is set up properly, if the cuff is tipped out try tipping it towards the inside, this MAY help

On the busy front, yep fully booked til middle of next week and fen for weekends

26-26.5 shell, (boot is size 26.5) there are two posts/fingers in the heel of the shell about 1cm high that fit into two cups on the underneath of the heel of the boot board. I'll try and send a piccy to you pm.
