Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person

Do post here your findings as I love Whistler but always wonder if there is somewhere better. The direct flights and reasonable length transfers swing it currently.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Agree Breck's terrain just isn't comparable to Whistler.
Try a two centre - Winter Park & Steamboat.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

What's the accommodation, night life, bars and restaurants like? |
Breck pales in comparison to Whistler on all the above counts.
If you like the skiing at Whistler, try Aspen as suggested by others. Though I found the apres a bit quieter than Whistler. It also seemed to attracts an older crowd, at least when I was there (Jan).
Other Colorado resort worth trying are Steamboat, Telluride or Crested Butte. But the skiing are very different in each and people either love or hate each. Also March is a bit late for some of them. With Aspen, you're safer with the variety.

rob and sharon, If you only stay in the slopes.. dont put your money to go to Breckenridge,, as Bones, say, some slopes are flat,, But if you ski offpist, there is wondefull bowls, as I use to say, there is no bad skiresors, only bad skier,, a good skier can have fun everywhere,, and the quality of the snow is most of the time better in Colorado, than in Whistler,,,

OK, thank you all for comments - given what has been said we've opted for Whistler

I haven't been to Whistler but would add the following about Breck-
1. It has been a great snow year so far
2. Early March can be Spring Break time- this translates into more families and College age kids.
