Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Claviere Mountain Meal At La Coche Restaraunt

Hi All .Was just wondering if anyone has been on the skidoo excursion to the mountain restaraunt , La Coche in Claviere. We have just had an info pack from Crystal and quite fancy this wee excursion for the evening meal on hotel staff night off (thurs)but don't know what time the meal usually ends as our 18 month old son would need to be back down the hill and tucked up in bed at a not to ridiculous time.
any info would be great.

if its anything like the Teebork trip in Livigno, it will be a night of booze and dancing, and the return trip will be a torch light walk, but i could be wrong.
Enjoy Claviere and get across to Montgenevre, La refuge is a lovely spot for a meal

DrewGeddes, did it a few years ago - my youngest would have been 3 at time and he went back down in skidoo with wife whilst me and my other 2 kids (6 and 9) skied down. Well worth it although personally I did not think the food was that great, unless you like raclette, in which case you'll love the food.

Did it a few years back with the family when we were staying in Montgenevre and it was good food and atmosphere. boabski, We didn't have a raclette it was traditional Italian food with some mountain influence. It was about 6 courses followed by Grappa at the end.

Skidoo ride was a bit of fun and I would definately do it again. Can't remember it being too late either.
