Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

I am just putting the feelers out to see if there is anyone out there that would be interested in sharing an RV to ski Alaska. This would be towards the end of April.
The helisking is 925US Dollars per day with 6 runs. It would be a case of fitting in when the heli ski company had room or going in the snow cat. They only take advanved or expert skiers and boarders.

I missed out on a trip last year and my friends had the best skiing of their lives. It also cost them a small fortune so I am looking into a way to do this without having to morgage the house.

At the moment I have no firm plans. I have been advised to go in April and would like to ski the Chugach region but would be willing to ski anywhere.

I will try to find out some prices for renting an RV.

Slalomskiboy, which dates are suitable for you? I am quite flexible and can go at short notice.
